Khapey is a dynamic video-based food review-sharing platform designed for users to post, view, and browse reviews in a TikTok-style feed. Users can explore reviews using filters to find content relevant to their interests, save reviews in collections, and share them with friends for a more interactive experience. The platform offers a seamless and engaging way to discover authentic user-generated reviews across various categories.

My Role: Lead Software Engineer
Oversaw and contributed to frontend and backend development, strategized new feature implementations, managed maintenance and deployment, monitored and reported bugs, and researched new tools to enhance the platform’s performance and scalability.
Full-Stack Development: Contributed to both frontend and backend development, ensuring smooth functionality and performance.
Feature Strategy: Planned and strategized the development of new features to enhance user experience.
Maintenance & Deployment: Managed project maintenance and handled deployment for seamless updates.

In my role as Lead Software Engineer for Khapey, I executed the following tasks to drive the project’s success:
Developed Core Features: Built and optimized key functionalities, ensuring a smooth and engaging user experience.
Enhanced Performance: Improved app speed, responsiveness, and scalability through efficient coding practices.
Implemented Real-Time Updates: Integrated real-time review updates and interactions for a dynamic feed experience.
Optimized Deployment Workflow: Streamlined the Docker-based (on Railway) deployment process for seamless updates and scalability.
Strengthened System Stability: Fixed critical bugs and optimized backend logic to ensure platform reliability.
Researched & Integrated New Technologies: Identified and incorporated new tools and frameworks to enhance performance and efficiency.
